Fall in Wisconsin's Buena Vista scenic overlook on Hwy 53 to Osseo, in Trempealeau County. The scenic overlooks feature a monument dedicated to Nicholas Bourlier de La Chevelle, a spirited young man who chose to leave society and live in a cave in Osseo in 1865.

Rib Mountain, Wisconsin, inspired this beautiful fall oil painting. It is a spectacle of vibrant colors and breathtaking views in the fall. As the leaves change, the slopes transform into a stunning tapestry of reds, oranges, and yellows. The mix of maple, oak, and birch trees creates a rich and diverse palette.

"Sunshine in the Garden" 8x10 Original Oil Worked late in the studio on this mini gem. We always look for botanical gardens to paint when traveling across the country. This one was inspired by a Midwestern garden on our way back from Colorado.
